Application for Reinstatement of the Right to Study - When your term of right to study or extended study time has ended, 2021

If you have not completed your studies during the term of the right to study, you can apply for the reinstatement of the right to study with this form. The right to study can be reinstated if the amount of studies missing from a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree does not exceed 35 cr. If you are missing more than 35 cr, you can apply for a separate right to study. Please contact the Study Councellor or Student Office for further information if necessary.

If your studies have started before 1 August 2015, apply for a right to study through the separate application for those complementing their degree.

The processing fee of the application is EUR 50 (VAT 0%). The fee is paid as online payment when submitting the application.

Make sure you fill in the correct form, the processing fee is not refunded. If necessary, you can ask for advice from the Student Office.

The tuition fee does not concern those non-EU/EEA students who:
-have started their studies before autumn 2017;
-have been accepted as transfer students in TUAS, started their studies in another UAS before 1 August 2017 and have not been required to pay tuition fee earlier;
-study in degree programmes taught in Finnish.
